Dongyang Bridge, also known as Wen Zhong Bridge, is located at the water’s end of Dongyang Village in Xiaocun Town. It was first built in the tenth year of the Qianlong era (1745) and has been rebuilt several times, with the last reconstruction in 1921. The bridge is a cantilever beam wooden flat corridor bridge.
There is not much excessive decoration on the bridge, yet it exhibits a simple and elegant style, reminiscent of a residential building, which gives people an exceptionally warm and welcoming feeling.Dongyang Bridge
