Dongyang Grand Ancestral Hall, a cultural relic protection unit in Quanzhou City, is located at No. 2, Jiuguanyi Lane, Licheng District, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province.
It was first built in the fifth year of Tianshun in the Ming Dynasty (1461 AD). Facing west and sitting east, it covers an area of about one mu.

The original ancestral hall was completed during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it became government office land. In the 1990s, after the ancestral hall was transferred to Lizhong Police Station, it was demolished and leveled. The existing ancestral hall was rebuilt in 2004.

The Dong and Yang families both originated from the Ji surname. Although they have different surnames, they share the same origin. The Dongyang Grand Ancestral Hall is the only ancestral hall in China where the Dong and Yang families jointly worship their ancestors.

Opening hours: It is open from 08:00 to 17:00 from January 1st to December 31st.
