Dongyue Temple, with its existing architecture facing west to east, is primarily composed of a three-part structure. The first section features the Report Room and the Merit Room on the left and right, respectively. The central space is adorned with an octagonal ceiling, which is structurally similar to the Jieyang Qiao Sheng Ancient Temple.
The second section is the main hall, a large hall with a hip roof, accompanied by a double-eaved hip-roofed pavilion, where the benevolent Emperor is enshrined. The third section, the rear hall, serves as a Buddhist hall.Dongyue Temple
