Dongzhai Port Mangrove Forest is a tranquil nature reserve. These mangroves exhibit a tenacious vitality, with the majority of the trees submerged underwater during high tide, only the treetops visible, and gradually revealing their trunks as the tide recedes.
Visitors can fully appreciate the beautiful scenery of the mangroves by taking a tour boat, and if fortunate, they may also spot various species of birds, especially during the autumn and winter seasons when the area becomes a paradise for migratory birds.
Opening hours are from 08:30 to 18:30 all year round.
