The maritime epic musical ‘Dream Seekers of the Vast Sea’ is the first large-scale immersive musical in China that combines virtual and real elements. It is located at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center’s Sea Theater, in the Qingdao Olympic Sailing and Marine Cultural Tourism Zone. The performance lasts approximately 70 minutes, with the main story line revolving around Qingdao’s maritime culture and the history of Chinese navigation. Through the portrayal of three navigators, it tells the magnificent epic story of the Chinese people’s continuous exploration and conquest of the sea over thousands of years. The venue is open all year round from Monday, Wednesday to Sunday, 14:00-20:00; it is closed all day on Tuesdays. Performance times and duration are subject to the actual schedule on site.
