Artist Du Meng’s first solo exhibition in Shenzhen originates from a simple life event. While straying from his original route by chance, Du Meng rescued a stray cat, an act of kindness that not only changed the small life’s trajectory but also prompted the artist to deeply reflect on the relationship between the ‘inevitable’ and the ‘fortuitous’. The exhibition venue is located near a renowned Ferris wheel, whose constant and preset trajectory symbolizes the fixed patterns of life, sparking the artist’s contemplation and discussion on paths, as well as questioning the meaning and value of ‘tracks’. Opening times are from December 7th to February 28th, with specific business status subject to daily opening conditions.
