The Duckling used to belong to fishermen. It is a typical Chinese junk and was a tool for fishermen to go out to sea and fish in the past. About 150 years ago, it was this kind of junk that sailed across the waters of Hong Kong. Now tourists can board this antique junk and experience the ancient and modern features of Hong Kong. The ‘Duckling’ junk sails back and forth between the Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon and Pier No. 9 in Central, Hong Kong Island.
