The Zhuhai Cuihu Golf Club officially opened in 1996. It has two championship-level 18-hole golf courses with a standard par of 72. They are the mountain course (AB course) with a total length of 7212 yards and the lake course (CD course) with a total length of 6730 yards. It is a large and popular golf club in Zhuhai. In 2014, the Zhuhai Cuihu Golf Club joined hands with the world-renowned golf course designer Greg Norman to comprehensively transform and upgrade the course. According to the current design results, the length of the championship course of Course A will exceed 7300 yards and still have a standard par of 72. The new course has increased the difficulty of hitting through changeable and naturally connected shapes, contains more hitting strategies, and puts forward higher requirements for hitting accuracy, which is bound to bring a better playing experience to golfers. It is expected that the new 18 holes of Course A will be completed with grass planting by the end of 2014 and open in spring and summer 2015. The new 18-hole community entertainment course of Course B will start construction after the opening of the new Course A. The new Course B will also continue the design style of the new Course A. Compared with the new Course A, which focuses on the competition-type lake course, the new Course B will focus more on entertainment. The course first passes through streams and lakes, then enters the forest in the middle section, and finally enters the continuous mountains. The more than 7000-yard 72-par course has complex and changeable terrain. From the green beside the lake with an altitude of only 6 meters to swinging on the mountain top with an altitude of more than 150 meters, it forms a mountain course with changeable landscape combinations and beautiful scenery.
