During the 18th and 19th centuries, Guangzhou was a central location for Sino-Western trade. In the foreign trade factories area on the banks of the Pearl River southwest of the city, there were several prosperous shopping streets with numerous shops selling all kinds of handicraft treasures, retail tea, local products, wine and food, targeting foreign merchants. This exhibition showcases different types of export art collections, presenting the style of Guangzhou as a shopping paradise at that time. It also invites local animators, the Cui brothers, to create animations and interactive projections, allowing the audience to embark on a window-shopping journey full of artistic atmosphere!
Opening hours: from January 19 to June 30. The performance time and duration are subject to on-site announcements.
