This exhibition is carefully planned into two chapters: ‘Integration of Diversity, Tales of the Grassland’ and ‘Blending Style, Unique Customs’. It showcases 88 cultural relics treasured by the Ordos Museum. These cultural relics spanning different eras range from bronze chisels of the Shang and Zhou dynasties and bronze wares of the Warring States period to terracotta figurines of the Yuan Dynasty, modern horse gear, and even modern musical instruments. They are rich in variety and cover a wide range of time periods. Through abundant cultural relics and vivid pictures, the exhibition comprehensively presents the historical culture and colorful traditional folk customs of Ordos. The audience will gain an in-depth understanding of Ordos’ unique traditional folk culture from multiple dimensions such as production methods, daily life, medical inheritance, competitive games, folk etiquette, and clothing art.
