This exhibition brings together 19 artists from Asia and the South Pacific. By connecting these two regions, it challenges the colonial geopolitical divisions and breaks through inherent concepts such as ‘Asia’ or ‘Pacific’. Patrick Flores: ‘The exhibition reflects the constantly evolving situation in the current world, such as the war in Europe and the tense situation in the surrounding seas of the region. Centering on the southeast, by redrawing the map and repositioning the world, the project seeks visions of belonging that can stem from different origins, evolutions and combinations.’ Reuben Keehan: ‘Stem Flow constructs a corresponding space. Here, artists propose new forms of cohesion and possible models of coexistence by drawing on similarities in history, language and culture, common experiences of colonization and exploitation, and the complexity of immigration and labor.’ Opening hours: from October 14 to December 31, Monday to Saturday, 10:30 – 18:30. The performance time and duration are subject to the on-site situation.
