‘The Monumentality of One: Giacometti in Langtou’ is the first large-scale Giacometti exhibition held in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and also the only public exhibition activity in Asia in 2024. It showcases 79 original works by Giacometti and will focus on four main aspects of Giacometti’s artistic creation: starting from Giacometti’s seemingly messy studio, examining his architectural perspective on human figures, his obsession with sculpture bases, his fascination with ‘cages’ as a structure, and his玩味 and control of space and blank.
