Hengdian Huaxia Cultural Park is a century-old boutique scenic spot that showcases the cultural achievements of the Chinese nation over five thousand years, integrating uniqueness, historicity, knowledge, artistry, and entertainment. Covering more than 500 acres with a total investment of over 1 billion yuan, it features a gate tower, cultural square, historical corridor, Four Buddhist Mountains, Yu Le Garden, Pagoda Forest and Guanyin Temple, Botanical Garden, Sanjiao Pagoda, and Yaotai Scenic Area, all of which encapsulate the five-thousand-year history and culture of the Chinese nation.
With the rapid rise of the film and television industry, dozens of films and TV series, including ‘The Race for the Championship’, ‘Chinese Paladin 3’, the new version of ‘The Legend of the Condor Heroes’, the world’s first 3D TV series ‘Wu Cheng’en and Journey to the West’, ‘Han Palace’, ‘Fan Lihua, the Female General of the Tang Dynasty’, ‘Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio’, and the new version of ‘Journey to the West’, have been filmed here, making it one of the Hengdian Film and Television实景 shooting bases.
