Falong Temple Jingchuang is located in Jinqian Temple Village on the outskirts of Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. The temple itself has long been destroyed, leaving only the Jingchuang, commonly known as Jinqian Temple Jingchuang. It stands with a planar octagonal shape and a remaining height of 6.30 meters.

The base of the Jingchuang consists of two layers of Xumi seats; the lower Xumi seat has a waist with reliefs of Vajra warriors on each side, all depicted with both hands lifting the Jingchuang, with angry eyes and vivid expressions; the upper Xumi seat waist is engraved with the names of virtuous men and women who donated to the construction of the Jingchuang, and based on the inscriptions and titles, they were not carved at the same time. Above it is a full lotus petal, on which a 1.75-meter high Jingchuang body is placed, engraved with the “Buddha’s Supreme Dharani Sutra” and the record of the construction of the Jingchuang. The record contains the construction date of the Jingchuang in the eleventh year of the Tang Dynasty’s Dazhong era (857 AD).

Above the Jingchuang body are components such as a treasure cover, beads, upward lotus, railings, and eaves. The treasure cover is an octagonal shape, with a beast’s head carved at each corner. The beads are reliefs of Kalavinka or birds with shared lives, all depicted with human heads and bird wings and tails, stretching their limbs and spreading their wings, appearing to fly. The upward lotus has three layers, with full petals and exquisite carvings. The railings are carved from whole stones, with short columns around which stories from the sutras are carved. The bottom of the canopy has reliefs of four music and dance celestial beings, each with a different demeanor. The top has been destroyed.

The opening hours are all year round, open all day.
