Fan Gongting Park is situated in a small basin of over 300 acres, located outside the west gate of Qingzhou City in Shandong. The park encompasses Fan Gongting, Li Qingzhao’s former residence, Yangxi Lake, Yongji Bridge pier, and Manxin Pavilion, among other scenic spots.
The terrain is low-lying with lush greenery, and the Nanyang River flows through it. Despite being just a wall away from the city, the park’s location in the basin provides a pleasant climate that is warm in winter and cool in summer. It does not freeze in the coldest months and remains bearable during the hottest days, making it a rare and beloved tourist destination for many visitors. The park was also used as a filming location for the CCTV adaptation of ‘Journey to the West’ featuring Zhu Bajie. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.Fan Gongting Park
