Fang Da Ancestral Hall was originally constructed during the Song Dynasty and was relocated to its current site during the Ming Dynasty. It was destroyed by war at the end of the Qing Dynasty and was reconstructed on its original site starting in the sixth year of the Tongzhi era (1867), with completion in the 22nd year of the Guangxu era (1896). Since its construction, the hall has not undergone major renovations and was maintained and preserved in 1997 through funding by the clan.
The hall is grand in scale, has a complete layout, and maintains an orderly tradition. The surrounding environment retains its historical appearance. The architecture also preserves Qing Dynasty wood carvings, paintings, and Ming-Qing stone carvings, which hold significant artistic value. It is of great importance for studying the socio-political and economic aspects of the Ming and Qing periods, as well as ancient clan systems.
