Fangjia Hutong is located in the northern part of Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is on the west side of Yonghegong Street and is under the jurisdiction of Andingmen Sub-district Office. It runs from east to west. It starts from Yonghegong Street in the east and ends at Andingmennei Street in the west. There is a branch alley in the south leading to Jiaodaokou North Third Street. In the north, it connects with Gongyixiang, Qingtanjuju Hutong, and Mayuan Hutong. It is 676 meters long and 7 meters wide, with an asphalt pavement. The site of the temple still exists and has become a residential house. According to ‘Xiaoting Xulu’: The palace of Prince Xun is in Fangjia Hutong. According to ‘Tianzhi Ouwen’: ‘Governor Bixingquan (Chang) lives in Fangjia Hutong. No. 13 in this alley is a quadrangle courtyard of the Qing Dynasty. In 1984, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit. No. 15 was originally the location of the Beiping Capital Prefecture.
