Nanyan Scenic Area is situated at the peak of Hugong Mountain in the heart of Zhejiang’s Fangyan Scenic and Historic Interest Area, 22 kilometers away from Yongkang city center, and is connected to Fangyan Mountain via a flying bridge, facing each other across the valley. It is the sister scenic area of Fangyan Mountain. With its misty rain and clouds shrouding half the mountain, it is a place of great beauty, combining mountains, water, forests, and ravines. The cultural landscape is extremely rich, with the Hugong culture having a long and storied history. Hugong Mountain is named after the legend of Hugong ascending to immortality from this place.
