Feishui Village Scenic Area is located in Recheng Hot Water Town. Within the scenic area, ethnic minorities such as the Yao and She peoples have long lived. Passing through the area, one can encounter ancient She villages, vast bamboo forests, towering ancient trees, stone ridge terraces, glacial canyons, pristine forests, a variety of flowers and trees, and a splendid display. Even the journey to the scenic area is picturesque.
Ascending along the stream within the scenic area, one finds steep valley cliffs, clear and sweet springs; strange rocks stand out, deep pools are unfathomable; bamboos sway gently, mountain flowers bloom, the mountain breeze is slow, and the air is fresh. The Feishui Village Scenic Area is also home to a group of waterfalls that are exceptionally beautiful and spectacular around Danxia Mountain. Among them, the Feishui Village Waterfall is particularly special, with a width of 26 meters and a drop of 235 meters, a four-tiered differential erosion waterfall. Up close, the waterfall resembles a galaxy from the heavens, with a thunderous sound of water and an imposing momentum. Above Feishui Village is a gentle slope with continuous grasslands spanning hundreds of acres. The grasslands are lush and verdant, and with a light breeze, green waves ripple. One kilometer uphill from Feishui Village, on the slope and grassland, stands a peak – Wanshi Mountain, known for its ‘rooster crowing in three provinces’. Wanshi Mountain stands alone, like a huge sprouting spring bamboo shoot or a sword leaning against the sky, pointing straight to the blue sky. Standing on top of Wanshi Mountain and looking around, one can see the landscapes of Hunan, Guangdong, and Jiangxi provinces at the border. With the vast land of the three provinces underfoot and mountains in one’s embrace, facing the wind from the vast sky and watching the clouds rise, one feels a sense of exhilaration and soaring passion.
