The Feiyunjiangyuan Grand Waterfall is located to the north of Banting Lanlv. It is the mainstream of Baiyunjian and the main source of the Feiyun River. It is a great place to explore the source of the Feiyun River. The stream water tumbles down a more than 30-meter-high cliff and pours into a deep pool. The sound is like a large bell, lingering on. Behind the pool, ancient trees in the secluded valley soar into the sky, and vines are intertwined. There is a waterfall viewing pavilion in the dense forest beside the pool. Leaning on the railing and looking up, the white curtain is like a hanging one, and snowflakes are flying. The air and atmosphere are refreshing.
The Feiyun River originates from Baiyunjian Peak, the highest peak in Wenzhou. There are mainly three streams: First, Baiyunjian (the current stream in front of us) originates from the east side of Baiyunjian Peak in Wuyanling. After flowing out of the reserve area to the east, it becomes Liguang Stream. Second, it originates from the stream on the west side of Baiyunjian Peak in Wuyanling. It flows through Dongkeng Town, Jingning County, and then turns southeast and enters the Huangqiao area of Wuyanling Reserve and becomes Sancha Stream. Third, Xianju Stream originates from the south side of Nanji Hill in Wuyanling. The three streams continuously converge and grow within the reserve area, and then all flow into Feiyun Lake (Shanxi Reservoir). Therefore, this reserve area is the birthplace and main water conservation area of the Feiyun River.
