Feng Ru’s Tomb

Feng Ru’s Tomb is located within the Huanghuagang Park, with a stone tablet in front that reads ‘Tomb of Feng Junru, the Founding Aviator of China’, and a stone tablet at the back that commemorates Sun Yat-sen’s order to compensate Feng Ru’s family as if he had died in battle and to record his deeds in the National History Museum. Feng Ru, also known as Ding San, was from Enping, Guangdong, and was a Chinese aircraft manufacturer and aviator. He tragically died at the age of 29 in 1912 while performing with a self-made aircraft at Yantang. The tomb is open all year round from 06:30 to 21:00.
