The Tiandi Stone Carving Garden is located in Danyang City, Jiangsu Province, the hometown of Qi and Liang dynasties and one of the top 100 counties in China. The Tiandi Stone Carving Garden project is based on Qi and Liang culture. It takes the stone carvings of the tombs of the Southern Dynasties in Danyang, which are of great cultural and historical value, as well as nearly 8,000 Chinese stone carvings from the Western Han Dynasty to modern times as a platform.
With the help of high-tech means, it creates Asia’s largest stone carving theme park, a national 4A-level cultural tourism scenic spot integrating cultural appreciation and public leisure. The Tiandi Stone Carving Garden is the first phase project of Jiangsu Cultural and Technological Industrial Park, with a total investment of 260 million yuan and designed by Beijing Turen Landscape Design and Research Institute. The building area is 15,000 square meters and the landscape area is 400,000 square meters. The entire building is shaped like a phoenix, implying the meaning of ‘Danfeng Chaoyang’ in Danyang. The indoor exhibition layout design plan of the Tiandi Stone Carving Garden focuses on Qi and Liang culture and more than 8,000 stone carvings, making full use of modern scientific and technological means such as sound, light, and electricity to show tourists a stone carving expo park integrating knowledge and interactivity. The outdoor landscape design plan of the Tiandi Stone Carving Garden will be exhibited in three categories: tomb stone carvings, religious stone carvings, and other stone carvings to construct different stone carving experience scenes. 8,000 precious stone carvings. Here is Danyang, where the tombs of the emperors of the Southern Qi and Southern Liang dynasties in the Northern and Southern Dynasties are located. After being infiltrated by 6,000 years of Chinese civilization, the Tiandi Stone Carving Garden, Asia’s largest stone carving cultural park, is here. Surrounded by Phoenix Lake, with unique cultural relic resources, today it has a landscape area of 400,000 square meters and a building area of 15,000 square meters.
