Fengjie County Baidi City Museum

The Baidi City Museum in Fengjie County, established in 1984, is located in Fengjie County, Chongqing City. It is a comprehensive museum integrating cultural relics archaeology and exhibition display. The museum covers an area of over 4000 square meters, with an exhibition area of 1547 square meters. It currently holds a collection of 2850 pieces, including 4 first-grade artifacts, 48 second-grade artifacts, 600 third-grade artifacts, and 2204 general artifacts. The collection spans categories such as stoneware, boneware, woodenware, jadeware, ironware, bronzeware, pottery, porcelain, steles, and calligraphy and painting. Particularly notable are the calligraphy and steles from the Sui and Tang dynasties, with the ‘Bamboo Leaf Inscription Stele’ combining poetry and painting in a unique style; the ‘Three Kings Stele’ engraved with phoenixes, peonies, and parasol trees, is exquisite and magnificent, and can be regarded as a treasure. The museum is open all year round from 6:30 to 18:00.
