The historically rich Fengsheng Ancient Temple is located at the southwest end of Li Xi Jiu Xu Bei Ling in Yingde City, surrounded by a lake on three sides and backed by a mountain range. With a history of three to four hundred years, it began to be restored in 2002. After the restoration, the scenery has been rejuvenated, as described in the couplet at the temple’s entrance: “Ten thousand miles without clouds, ten thousand miles of sky; a thousand rivers with water, a thousand rivers with moons.
” The temple is built along the mountainside, with picturesque scenery and a long-standing history. Inside, there is a towering ancient tree over 1500 years old, with ancient branches and trunks soaring into the sky, resembling giant auspicious dragons flying among the clouds.
