Fengtian Altar is located in Licheng District, Quanzhou City. It originally had a large dome. The stone walls around it are made of granite. To the south is a row of huge stone windows.
Due to the great earthquake in Quanzhou in the fifth year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the main hall tilted and the dome collapsed. The spires of the gateway building and the moon-watching platform disappeared completely.

Now only the tall stone walls engraved with the Quran remain. The windows in the south and the huge granite columns point straight to the blue sky, looking solemn and majestic under the sunlight.
