The Qinglongtan is located in the Baitengkeng section of Fengnan at the downstream of Fengxi. The water in the pool is clear, blue, sweet. It winds like a dragon. The rocks on the shore are strangely distributed, like clouds and peaks. The pool water is like a dragon soaring among the sea of clouds, looming. Hence the name Qinglongtan. At the first sight when entering the scenic area, there are many potholes of different sizes and shapes. The clear stream flows through the potholes, making people marvel at the uncanny workmanship of nature. Then going upstream again, one can see the rocks as if cut by knives and axes, magnificent. The pool water is like a mirror, clean and unpolluted. Some tourists sighed and wrote a poem: ‘The guests in the pit have a clear heart without dust.’ Another old gentleman wrote a poem: ‘There is no place with comparable scenery in Fengnan.’ This is a unique landscape in eastern Guangdong, both natural and spectacular. Without any artificiality, it is a real natural ecological area.
