Fengxiang Gorge is located on the southeast wing of the Phoenix Mountain Range, the first mountain in eastern Guangdong. It is close to Fandong Mountain (1036m), the third peak of the Phoenix Mountain Range. It is also the south gate of the Phoenix Mountain. The magnificent Phoenix Mountain Range undulates gracefully. When the peaks and turns reach the Dashan area, there is a Fenghu Village in Dashan.
Backing against the main peak at an altitude of 1391 meters, a winding canyon is formed between the two green mountains with overlapping forests in front of the village. The valley is steep and precipitous, and the clear spring is like spraying pearls. This is the unique Fengxiang Gorge. Entering the scenic area from the mountain gate at the foot of the mountain, one can reach the Yuhu leisure area in front of Fenghu Village by climbing step by step. Entering the mountain gate, passing through the rock crevices, and stepping on the newly opened cement path paved with pebbles on the mountain. The scenic area sets up a long metal guardrail on the cliff of the steep path. Tourists can enjoy the fresh and far-reaching canyon with the help of the guardrail and take several good photos. Fengxiang Gorge retains the beauty of the original ecology. The suspension bridges and pavilions in the valley are also unadorned. The slopes on both sides are covered with green shade. The green is deep green and the blue is emerald blue. Under the sunlight, they present gorgeous colors. There are numerous rocks and boulders in the canyon, strange rocks stand upright, springs gush out, silver bead waterfalls, and the pools are deep. As you go up along the pebble path, the mountain becomes more and more dangerous. In many places, there are steep cliffs. It is not easy for elderly people to walk the entire journey. Fengxiang Gorge combines the magnificent and beautiful scenery of the canyons in the Phoenix Mountain Range. It is also a more representative canyon waterfall group in the Phoenix Mountain Range. Waterfalls such as ‘Listening to the Waterfall in the Shade’, ‘Crystal Clear and Splashing Jade’, ‘Black Dragon Drinking from the Canyon’, and ‘Milky Way Falling into the Han River’ form a unique natural ecological water system waterfall group in the Phoenix Mountain Range.Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 16:30.
