Fengyang Mountain is located 50 kilometers southeast of Longquan City. It covers an area of 23 mu. The plant resources in the protected area are extremely rich. More than 20 species such as Pseudotaxus chienii, Pseudotsuga gaussenii, and Disanthus cercidifolius var. longipes are included in the List of Rare and Endangered Protected Plants in China. There are numerous wild animals, including clouded leopards, serows, tragopans, and Chinese goshawks. Among them, there are 9 protected animal species. Fengyang Mountain, known as a ‘cool world’ and a ‘natural park’, is a great place for leisure vacations and summer tourism. There are nearly 100 scenic spots in the protected area, including Huangmaojian, the highest peak in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, with an altitude of 1929 meters; Longyuan Gorge, the source of the Oujiang River; Fengyang Lake, the artificial lake with the highest altitude in the province; Fengyang Temple, a world shiitake mushroom cultural site, as well as Xiaohuangshan Mountain and Shuangzhe Waterfall. All of these are tourist attractions.
