The former residence of Chen Lanbin was built in the first year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. It is located in Huangpo Village, Huangpo Town, Wuchuan City, Guangdong Province. It is a two-entry brick-wood quadrangle structure building. Since this is where Chen Lanbin received officials and entertained guests, locals also call it the ‘official hall’. Tourists can come here to learn about the deeds of Chen Lanbin. In front of the quadrangle square of the former residence stands a bronze statue of Chen Lanbin meeting with American President Rutherford B. Hayes in the White House.
