There are two former residences of Mr. Qi Baishi in Beijing. One is the Qi Baishi Former Residence Memorial Hall in Yuer Hutong, which is currently open as a memorial hall. The other is here. The former residence is a three-sided courtyard residence with a wing. Qi Baishi lived here from his fifties until his death. The three northern rooms in the former residence were the “Qi Baishi Painting House” in those days. Because there is an iron fence in front of the house, it is also called the “Iron Fence House”. Under the eaves of the northern room hangs a horizontal plaque of “Qi Baishi Painting House” in seal script, which is 3.3 meters long and 0.84 meters high engraved by Qi Baishi. The large characters are still faintly visible.

Opening hours: Open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00. Specific opening hours are subject to the on-site announcements of the scenic spot.
