The former residence of Qiu Jun is located at No. 9, Third Lane, Jinhua Road. At the entrance of the courtyard, there are four big characters ‘Former Residence of Qiu Jun’ inscribed by Luo Zhewen, a famous ancient architecture expert and calligrapher of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. The golden yellow characters shine brightly against the black background.
The existing former residence of Qiu Jun consists of two sections: ‘Keji Hall’ and the front hall. The front hall is three bays wide and four rafters deep, with a total height of 4 meters. ‘Keji Hall’ is three bays wide and thirteen rafters deep. Both are single-eaved hard mountain-style simple board tile roofs.
Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 18:00 on Monday, Wednesday to Sunday throughout the year; closed all day on Tuesday throughout the year.
