Located at 390 Wukang Road, the building was constructed in 1932 and originally served as the residence of the Italian Consul General. Characterized by its gentle red-tiled roof, creamy white exterior walls, arc-shaped steps embracing the entrance, and three large French windows leading to the balcony, this typical Southern European Mediterranean-style garden villa is now quite rare in Shanghai.
