The former residence of Zhou Xinfang is located in Jiangbei District, Ningbo City.
Built by Zhou Xinfang, an outstanding modern Peking Opera performing artist, in 1925 when he returned to his hometown after becoming famous at the age of 30 and where he also lived.
The original former residence had a gate tower. In the middle was the hall. There were buildings at the back and wing rooms on both sides. Now only the ancestral hall remains.
It has three bays in width, with a hard mountain-style roof and a post-and-beam structure. The beam frame structure does not use flat beams but uses arched counter beams to support the ridge purlin. In the middle of the counter beams, there is a flower bucket. The roof is of hard mountain style, and the gable is higher than the main ridge.
