The former site of the General Headquarters of the Korean Liberation Army is located at No. 37, Zourong Road, Jiefangbei, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It was built in the 1930s. It is a brick-wood structure and a combination of Chinese and Western architecture. The current site is four stories high, with a total construction area of about 814 square meters. The first and second floors are the historical display and restoration display of the General Headquarters of the Korean Liberation Army in Chongqing.
The exhibition hall displays relevant documents, congratulatory messages, and news reports when the Liberation Army was established, water bottles, telephones, telescopes, and clothing used by the Liberation Army, restoration drawings of the office scene of the command headquarters, relevant documents and signature flags of important officials when the Liberation Army left Chongqing, and relevant video materials on the independence movement of the Korean Peninsula.Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, open from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 17:00; closed all day on Monday throughout the year.
