The former site of the Union Church is a chapel opened by the British on Yantai Mountain after Yantai was opened as a port. It is specially for foreigners (especially for British and Americans). Its architecture basically highlights the European architectural art style. There is an attic on the roof, and a cross sign is erected on the top. At present, the former site has been turned into the ‘Yantai Construction Achievement Exhibition Hall’. The hall truly records and reproduces the brilliant achievements Yantai has made in various aspects in the past half century. It vividly shows the grand blueprint of Yantai, a port city, spanning the century. Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 17:30 all year round.
