Fuan Baiyun Mountain

Baiyun Mountain is located within the territory of Muyun Township and Xiaoyang Town in the northwest of Fuan City. The main peak has an altitude of 1450 meters and is one of the two highest peaks in eastern Fujian. There are five scenic areas planned, namely Baiyun Mountain, Jiulong Cave, Longting Canyon, Huanglan Canyon, and Jinzhong Mountain. To the west, it adjoins Guanshan in Zhouning County at Longting Creek.


To the north, it is bounded by Fengyang in Shouning County across Huanglan Lake. The planned area is 96 square kilometers. At the foot of the mountain, there are mainly five streams, including Longting Creek, Shouyang Creek, Chan Creek, Huanglan Creek, and Xiu Creek. The landscape resources are extremely rich, mainly including unique geological wonders, beautiful and diverse mountain and canyon scenery, wonderful and magical ‘Buddha’s halo’ wonderland, rare and diverse biological populations, and ancient and multi-source cultural heritages.


Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 17:30 from January 1st to December 31st. Ticket inspection stops at 16:30. Open normally on holidays. The information is for reference only. The specific opening hours are subject to the disclosure on the day of the scenic area.

Children: Children under 1.2 meters (excluding) or under 6 years old are exempt from scenic area tickets. Children under 1.2 meters (excluding) or under 6 years old are exempt from sightseeing bus fares. Minors aged 6 to 18 years old (with identity card proof) and children with a height between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (excluding) enjoy half-price scenic area tickets.

Disabled people: Disabled people with disability certificates issued by the national disabled persons’ federation are exempt from scenic area tickets.


Military personnel: Active-duty military personnel and retired military personnel are exempt from scenic area tickets.


Elderly: People aged 70 years old (including) and above with valid identity documents such as ID cards are exempt from scenic area tickets. People aged 60 years old (including 60 years old) to 69 years old (including 69 years old) need to hold valid identity documents such as ID cards and enjoy half-price scenic area tickets.


Journalists: Journalists at or above the provincial level are exempt from scenic area tickets.


Tour guides: Tour guides with national tour guide certificates at or above the provincial level are exempt from scenic area tickets.


National model workers/members of photography associations: National model workers; members of photography associations at or above the municipal level and others with valid certificates are exempt from scenic area tickets.


Fire rescue personnel: Fire rescue personnel with relevant certificates are exempt from scenic area tickets.


Students: Full-time undergraduate and below students (with student ID cards) enjoy half-price scenic area tickets.
