Fujian Shoushan National Mine Park is one of the first 28 mine parks in China. It consists of five parks: Shoushan, Rixi, Hongliao, Lingtou and Guihu. The main feature is the mining heritage landscape of Shoushan stone, which shows the characteristics of the origin. The well-known tourist brands of Fuzhou, “Shoushan stone” and “hot spring”, are both reflected in this park. Tourists can enjoy entertainment projects such as soaking in hot springs, strolling in the park, appreciating Shoushan stones, rafting and diving experiences in the park. In addition, there is still an undeveloped Tianhuangshi production area covering an area of 2.5 mu in Shoushan Village for tourists to visit.
The ancient Shoushan stone mine cave scenic area is located in Shoushan Village, Shoushan Township, Jin’an District, Fuzhou, 28 kilometers away from downtown Fuzhou. It is understood that the viewing area of the scenic area has ancient mine caves that are more than 300 meters long. The ancient mine caves, varying in size and shape, are just like a fascinating underground maze. Tourists can truly feel the arduous process of Shoushan stone mining. The Taobao area of the scenic area covers an area of about 800 square meters. In the future, services such as processing, polishing and engraving of small Shoushan stone handicrafts will be provided. Tourists who find Duling stones here can choose their own production techniques on the spot to make souvenirs.
