Fuquan Temple is located on Dashifuquan Mountain, about twenty kilometers northwest of Linhai City. Fuquan Temple was first built in the second year of Baoli reign of Emperor Jingzong of the Tang Dynasty. The builder was a Sanskrit monk from the Western Regions. Later, Master Youzhang of the Tiantai Sect built Futian Courtyard in the north of the temple. At the end of 2011, local believers initiated the reconstruction of the ancient temple. After four years, the temple was renovated.
