Furong Ancient Village Song Garden is located at the southeast entrance of Furong Village, a millennium-old Song Dynasty village. The area features a cluster of rural museums. Within the Song Garden, there is a ‘Night Pearl’ with a diameter of 2 meters and weighing 11 tons, as well as a root carving of ‘Along the River During the Qingming Festival’ measuring 26 meters in length, 3.2 meters in height, 2.35 meters in width, and weighing 30 tons. Additionally, the premises house a photography equipment museum, a folk customs museum, an ancient stone carving museum, a Song Dynasty porcelain museum, and an Ou porcelain museum. The exhibits within these museums narrate the stories of changing times.
Young and vibrant businesses have been integrated with the environment, such as coffee shops, tea houses, and artistic elements. Combining Yongjia’s rich dramatic resources, regular performances of Song operas, dances, quyi (a traditional Chinese performing art), and modern rural dramas are held. Furthermore, collaborations with music groups featuring guitars, saxophones, violins, and pianos are organized regularly. Through stage design, lighting, and multimedia, the village (Night Pearl) performance center is established, revitalizing the ancient village.
The site is open year-round from 08:30 to 21:00.
