Furong Tourist Resort is approximately one hour’s drive from Guangzhou City, with a forest coverage of up to 95%. The resort is composed of several major attractions: Prince Mountain Forest Park, Tongtian River, Furong Peak Park, Xishan Waterfall, Dragon King Hall, and Tianzi Mountain, among which Furong Peak is the true location of the ‘Dragon’s Lair’. Furong Villa is built along the water and is located next to a natural swimming pool for thousands of people, with the left side being Guangzhou’s first waterfall: Furong Flying Waterfall (Xishan Waterfall), with a drop of over 130 meters. Upon entering the villa, one can ‘not hear the sound but first see the scenery’, with a view of the 650.6-meter-high ‘Furong Peak’, as described in the poem ‘Head wearing Furong Peak’. There is also the ‘Ancient Dragon King Hall’ on the hillside, traces of immortals, and a story about Furong Fairy seeking rain and burning incense for divination. Inside, there are historical sites such as the ‘Hong Xiuquan Ancestral Tomb’ and ‘Chen Jitang Tomb’. The villa currently offers facilities for rafting, outdoor combat, grass sliding, water world, rock climbing, exploration, expansion, and large-scale barbecue areas. The resort is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
