Futian Mangrove Ecological Park is located south of the Guangshen Highway in Futian District, bordered by Xinzhou River to the east, Shenzhen Bay to the south, adjacent to Futian National Nature Reserve to the west, and connects to Shamchun Village to the north, separated from Mai Po Nature Reserve by a body of water. Covering an area of approximately 38 hectares, it is an essential component of the Shenzhen Bay wetlands and was originally part of the border defense control area. The park is open all year round from 06:00 to 23:00.
