Fuyou Street is located in the southeast of Xicheng District. It was renamed from Huichang Jiadao to Fuyou Street. From the opening of Fuyou Street to now, it has a history of just over eighty years. In the past, Fuyou Street was impassable. Now it has become one of the main arteries for communicating the traffic between the north and south of Beijing. On the sidewalks on both sides of the road, Chinese scholar trees are flourishing and the trees are shady. It is a beautiful and quiet street. On the east side of Fuyou Street, the southern half of the north wall is a red wall, which is part of the west wall of the imperial city in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The red wall is eighteen feet high and is covered with golden glazed tiles on top.
