Fuzhou Meng Hui Yongtai is a comprehensive cultural and tourism performance project that integrates performing arts, light sculpture art, and visual art, aiming to revitalize the historical stories of Fuzhou and provide audiences with a brand-new viewing experience.
The project takes the protagonist Zhou Taipu from the Qing Dynasty’s local novel ‘Min Capital Chronicles’ as the narrator, and designs the main IP image of ‘Golden Turtle and Silver Turtle’ that runs through the entire performance. By perfectly integrating the Wushan Tunnel with the content of the play, it showcases the representative cultural, historical, and landscape elements of Fuzhou.

The performance is divided into four major chapters: ‘Between Mountains and Seas’, ‘Alley Sentiments’, ‘Maritime Silk Road Legend’, and ‘Blessed Fuzhou’, interpreting the spirit of Fuzhou people’s love for their country, inclusiveness, pioneering courage, and unyielding perseverance.

Audiences can immerse themselves in the millennia-old prosperity that remains, experiencing a stream of consciousness-like flashback to the historical development process, allowing representative figures from different periods to come together and express their emotions and love for this city and land.

Open all year round from 14:00 to 20:00.
