Nanhou Street in Fuzhou starts from the intersection of Yangqiao Road in the west and ends at Aomen Bridge via Jibi Road in the south, with a total length of about 1,000 meters. It is the central axis of the “Three Lanes and Seven Alleys” in Fuzhou City. There are seven alleys on its east side and three lanes on its west side. It used to be a major commercial street, with numerous merchants gathering along the road from north to south.
Nanhou Street is the central axis of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. After renovation, Nanhou Street will be filled with antique charm. The width of the road surface will reach 12 meters, including a 7-meter-wide pedestrian street in the middle. Nanhou Street, starting from Yangqiao Road and ending at Jibi Road, has a total length of only 634 meters. It is a leisure and cultural commercial street that combines tradition and modernity.
