The band members are Syu (guitar), SHO (vocalist), TAKA (bass), LEA (drums), and YUHKI (keyboard). GALNERYUS is a representative neoclassical metal and power metal band in Japan. The band’s name is inspired by the famous violin ‘Guarnerius’. Formed in Osaka in 2001 with Syu (guitar) and YAMA-B (former vocalist) as the center, it officially debuted in 2003 under VAP. Since the release of its first demo in 2001, GALNERYUS has undergone several changes in members. In 2009, with the addition of legendary singer SHO (Masatoshi Ono) and bassist TAKA, the current golden lineup was formed and the band was pushed to another peak.

Galneryus interprets the golden age of Japanese metal music with superb instrumental playing skills, Syu’s signature guitar solos, and Sho’s high-pitched and passionate vocals. With its loyal and transcendent steel metal will, the G group has steadily produced 15 high-quality albums in 20 years, crossing the torrent of the times and becoming the most brilliant and timeless legend of metal music in Japan and even Asia!

In 2016, the band’s overseas tour included Shanghai, China. The enthusiasm of the live performance scene is still talked about by fans to this day.

Now, eight years have passed! In December of this year, the band will come to China again with a new album and 20 years of classic catalogs! A total of four wonderful performances will be brought to fans across China in four cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen!
