Ganlu Spring, located within the Lingyan Temple Scenic Area in Wande Town, Changqing District, Jinan, is one of the most renowned springs in Lingyan Temple. The spring water emerges from the rock crevices like dewdrops, making a clear and pleasant sound, hence the name Ganlu Spring. The spring pool is rectangular, clear to the bottom, with green algae drifting, never drying up all year round.

On the eastern cliff of the spring pool, there is an inscribed stone carving of Ganlu Spring, which was written by Emperor Qianlong. About 10 meters to the west of the spring pool on the rock wall, there is a large inscription of ‘source of living water’ written by Peng An, the governor of Shandong during the Ming Jiajing period in the 27th year (1548).

The spring is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.
