Gao Jia Garden was the private garden of Gao Yicheng during the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a corridor sheltered from wind and rain on both sides, with artificial hills and miniature bridges over flowing water.
The garden exudes an overall tranquil and elegant atmosphere, characteristic of the quintessential Jiangnan garden architecture. It is open to the public all year round from 10:00 to 16:30, with specific operating conditions subject to daily availability.
