Gaolan Island was called ‘Gaolan’ in the early days and is praised as ‘Five peaks stand upright like fingers, and there are many orchids in the valleys’. The major attraction is the ‘spectacular flying sands’, which is a rare wonder in southern China and also a coastal navigation mark of the Maritime Silk Road. The mountains on the island undulate, and the vegetation is very dense, with many ornamental plants such as cactus, eucalyptus tereticornis, and casuarina equisetifolia.

What is particularly fascinating is the desert on the island. Dafei Beach is surrounded by stone mountains on both sides. The beach has a wide windbreak forest, and the natural conditions are quite superior. In addition, the seven beaches such as Baisha Bay, Xisha Bay, and Xieqian Bay are continuous with different scenery and are secluded and free from dust. About 15 kilometers in the east of Gaolan Island has been designated as Zhuhai Feisha International Resort City.

The opening hours are subject to the opening status on the day.
