Gaoyi Ridge Tourism Area is located at the border of Qiaokou Town, Suqian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, and Zixing City, adjacent to Feitian Mountain, and close to Bianjiang in Yongxing County. The scenic area is characterized by a mix of trees and rocks, red cliffs, and green waters, forming beautiful landscape paintings.
Gaoyi Ridge, dominated by forests and mountains, is surrounded by clear waters at its base, and from a high vantage point, it resembles an ink-green ‘Heavenly Pool’ encircling an ‘octopus’ with its tentacles spread out on the water surface. Here, there are towering red peaks, red cliffs, and green waters, all incredibly beautiful, with mountains, waters, springs, caves, forts, cliffs, and plains all present, making it a rare spectacle of Danxia landform.
Opening hours: 07:00-18:30 from April 30th to October 7th; 08:00-18:00 from October 8th to April 29th.
Preferential policies: Children: Free for those under 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters (inclusive), accompanied by a guardian; half price for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive). Minors: Half price for those aged from 6 years old (exclusive) to 18 years old (inclusive). Elderly: Half price for those aged from 60 years old (inclusive) to 70 years old (exclusive); free for those aged 70 years old (inclusive) and above.
