Xianrenc Scenic Area is located in the northeastern part of Gaozhou City, Maoming, Guangdong Province, situated at the southern foot of Datian Ding, known as the ‘First Peak of Western Guangdong’. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a demonstration site for leisure agriculture and rural tourism in Guangdong Province, one of the top ten beautiful villages in Maoming City, and a summer retreat and pristine tourist destination in the southern region.
The area is truly depicted by ‘Green Fields, Pure Land, and Fairy Home’. Based on ecological and seasonal changes, the scenic area annually hosts three themed events: from February to May, the Wisteria and Rhododendron Appreciation Festival; from June to September, the Waterfall Viewing and Summer Escape Lung Purification Festival; from October to November, the Harvest Festival, to promote the scenic beauty and unique features of Xianrenci. Xianrenci Villa: Rural Cuisine, Summer Retreat Villa (Accommodation, Conferences), Xianrenci Alpine Farm (Alpine Yellow Cattle, Free-range Chicken, Clear Water Duck, Slimming Fish), etc. , is a comprehensive tourist resort integrating ornamental, participatory, and leisure health. The scenic area is perennially adorned with babbling brooks, cascading waterfalls, and linked waterfalls, which are very spectacular. The streamside is covered with wild wisteria vines, stretching for hundreds of meters with a diameter of 160cm. Experts have confirmed that they are thousand-year-old ancient vines. The flowers resemble wisteria and sparrow, hanging in clusters on the vines, vividly, a vine becomes a scene, known as ‘Wonderful Flowers on the Vine’, ‘Natural Jade Sparrows’. The wild rhododendrons on Xianruci Peak are known as ‘Xi Shi in Flowers’. When in bloom, tens of thousands of acres bloom, red, purple, yellow, pink…, covering the mountains and fields, very delicate; hence it is also known as the ‘Kingdom of Rhododendrons’. Xianrenci is a famous ‘air-conditioned village’. Due to its vast area and sparse population, the natural ecology is well preserved, with dense forests, fresh air, and excellent weak alkaline water quality of 7.4.
